Alley-Cassetty, Inc. is still a family owned and operated business since its inception in the 1880’s. It all started with a small retail coal business that has grown into one of the fastest growing companies in the South according to Inc. magazine, and today, it ranks as one of Nashvilles’s largest private 100 companies.

In 1964, Cassetty Coal Company merged with the Frank Alley Coal Company to form the Alley-Cassetty Coal Company. In 1971 Capitol Builders Supply was purchased by the Alley-Cassetty families which marketed brick and related material to the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area. Today, the brick, block, & stone division encompasses 14 offices in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia with a portfolio of manufacturers of both residential and commercial products. In 1980, the firm established its Alley-Cassetty Trucking Division, a full service hauler specializing in hazardous and non-hazardous customized transportation. Also in 1980, Custom Truck Sales and Service was added to the Alley-Cassetty family of businesses. Custom Truck Sales and Service’s name was changed in 2000 to Alley-Cassetty Truck Center to bring all the various business divisions under the Alley-Cassetty Companies, Inc. corporate umbrella.

For over 36 years Alley-Cassettty Truck Center has served the Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama market in the transportation industry.
